The SOSA District (Southeast Ontario Soccer Association) was founded in 1997 to promote, develop, and govern the game of soccer within southeastern Ontario, to represent and act on behalf of Ontario Soccer in the administration of its programs within the district, and to represent and act on behalf of its Member organizations and assist them to develop and administer their soccer programs.
The SOSA District encompasses the counties of Hastings, Prince Edward, Lennox-Addington, Frontenac, and Leeds, stretching from Quinte West in the west to Brockville in the east, and as far north as Bancroft and Portland.
The SOSA League was formed in 2008 and had its first season of play in 2009. Previously, teams were part of the ERSL West league. In its first season, SOSA League had 50 teams. We now have nearly double that!
